Veggie Pride Parade

UPDATE: Just a quick update to thank everyone who came out for the Veggie Pride Parade on Saturday!  And after all the Animal Acres events I’ve done, I finally found a moment to grab a photo with Lorri!

It was great to see so many familiar faces, and to meet new friends as well.  We brought pistachio aniseed biscotti, pumpkin pecan biscotti with chocolate chips, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, gluten-free double chocolate cookies, gluten- and soy-free coconut macaroons, black cocoa brownies, peanut butter brownies and soy-free ginger and blueberry lemon scones.  Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!

Just a quick note to tell you about the Veggie Pride Parade taking place this Saturday, October 30th.  C’est La V Bakeshop is going to have a booth selling lots of vegan baked goods in addition to all the other tasty food scheduled to be there.  We were vendors last year and had a great time at the event, so we’re thrilled to be back once again.

This time the parade will be in Santa Monica where the Sunday Farmers Market usually takes place, so if you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by!  I don’t have my full menu decided yet, but i’ll be twittering this week with updates.  Let me know if any of you have requests!
