C’est La V at the 5th Annual Compassionate Cuisine
UPDATE: Just wanted to post a couple photos from the event we did on Friday. The Japanese Gardens were beautiful, and it was nice to be at an event with such a unique setting. We were up in the dessert tent with Luscious Organics, and had a great time hanging out with them.
Here’s a shot of the table before the stampede of guests came through. I brought all new products to the event, including an updated version of the fudgy brownie made with black cocoa powder. I also brought pumpkin pie bars on an oatmeal pecan cookie crust, as well as gluten and soy free chocolate chip toffee cookie bars. We ran out of everything, so I guess the new products went over well! They’ll be added to the C’est La V Bakeshop store soon, but if you’d like to order them in the meantime, you can contact me directly.
I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new people, and of course the best part was all the amazing food that we got to try! Everything was fantastic, but my favorites were the tasty beer-battered avocado tacos from SeaBirds Truck, and Native Foods’ insanely delicious fajita with chimichurri sauce. If you weren’t able to attend this year, I definitely recommend checking this event out next year. It was a great night!
This Friday is the 5th Annual Compassionate Cuisine event, and I’m so excited to be able to attend this year. Last year I donated some products but wasn’t able to be there in person, and I’m really excited to experience the event first hand.
C’est La V will have a table full of goodies, in addition to all the other great vendors who are attending. The best part is that you not only get to try lots of great vegan food, but you can also feel good about supporting a very worthy cause.
Hope to see you there!
